All you need is eggs, toasts and coffee

Was surprised to walk into a rather empty cafe on a Saturday afternoon. Prices here wouldn't really make your wallet weep and the brunch items are pretty decent. My first go at Lola's famous wings, and I'll definitely be back for more! Some of the staff were great, while others weren't too warm and enthusiastic. Even though the cafe was barely filled with customers, one of the girls cleared our cups (I had a little latte left) without asking us. What exactly is the hurry?

Not much to fault for a decent brunch fare. The coffee was really worth the drive here!

Tender roast beef slices with caramelized onions and veggie packed between the ryes. Unfortunately, our poached eggs were overdone and we had to send it back. We never got a nicely done one in return (some burner troubles) but the staff came to check with us if it was okay for scrambled eggs replacement. The chef also came to our table to apologize for the matter (when it was less busy), so everything ended well! Love the laid back melbourne-esque cafe vibes of this new joint too!
