Loving this place. I've been here twice cos I was sold by the fresh eel and the perfect charcoal grill resulting in crispy and smoky skin. I've also brought non-unagi lovers here and so far all have love it.

The hitsumabushi is one dish enjoyed three ways - first, just the unagi and with the plump rice; second, grate your own fresh wasabi and mix in seaweed and spring onions; third, pour in the dashi stock and make it an ochazuke.

Best time to visit? When we went on a Thursday afternoon at 2pm, there's no queue and we have the whole restaurant to ourselves.
The fabulous teppanyaki lunch I had a few days ago, prepared by a chef who's been in the line for 20 years. The set includes sashimi, prawn tempura, buttered scallops, king prawns, poached Norwegian salmon (the best teppanyaki salmon I've ever had), assorted vegetables, garlic rice and miso soup. You get to pick your main course from oysters, lamb, chicken, Japanese or Australian wagyu, or US beef tenderloin or rib-eye β I got to try everything and honestly, everything was so delicious that I can't pick one to recommend; it really depends on what your favourite protein is!

Fun-sized burgers with juicy wagyu beef patties, cheddar, gherkins and tomato herb chutney. Not bad!
I had this a few years ago and I remembered it being good. And it is still good! Best of all, it's Muslim owned, so you can dine with your Muslim friends here π
Really enjoyed dining at this place. Maybe next time I'll have dessert along with my salad!
Initially I was quite disappointed because it wasn't very photogenic, just a round globe and I could see my reflection in the shiny caramel coat. However, when I bit into it, it was very flavourful. The salted caramel was very distinct and I just love every bit of it!
