This will be the best you can find in town. Must try. Forgot the price.
I don't really like pan Mee, but I cannot resist this fried pork. RM4 for the small portion. Crispy crunchy. They serve century egg dumplings too which is my favourite.
Local snack. Fried banana fritters topped with cheese. But I just found out it is actually an Indo recipe. We Sarawakians like them just as much here. 😁
A local delicacy where bananas are slightly pressed and grille on charcoal. Serve with a variety of sauce, from durian to cheese and chocolate. It is said you've never been to Makkasar if you've never tried pisang epe.
Loosely translated as Pork rib tea - a herbal soup base pork ribs and other parts of a pig.
This is a traditional (Foochow) dish. Popular and tasty. The noodle is fried first before cooking in soy sauce gravy. I grow up eating this and have always craved for it.
I've tasted better Kolo Mee. This kolo mee is special because of extra 4 meatballs and 4 prawns. My definition of good kolo mee: the noodle has to be cooked till soft but chewy. They cannot stick together, otherwise it'll be too mushy and slimy. Also the water has to be boiling hot, otherwise the noodle will taste uncooked and soggy.
Dinner time ~ ^^
