Went to tea plantation earlier and luckily met tea pluckers then we go straight here to tea factory to see how my favorite tea was made. After then, we were given a warm BOP ( broken orange pekoe ) tea for a free taste. I had 2 cups! Hahaha!

Trying Appam or popularly knows here as Hoppers; Thin pancakes with crispy edges made from rice flour, coconut milk and palm toddy (or yeast). Wonderfully versatile they work with eggs, curries, chicken and vegetables. My favourite right now is an egg nestling in it while overlooking the golden sand of Negombo. Perfect to set you up for a day of palm trees, sunshine and the beach. Oh life!
