They used to be a boutique cafe, as they not only serving coffee and pastries but also selling some streets wears and accessories upstairs. However, they had sold off the upper level to bicycle shop. At the moment, there is only few tables in front of the counter and also few tables outside the cafe, which most of the people are smoking out there. Speaking about their chai latte, cant remember how much is that since they had 2 for 1 coffee promotion during my visit, from 3pm to 5pm. Their freshly brew chai latte with spices seriously make a good cup of chai latte, although it might be different with those that you drink out there. If you prefer sweeter taste, just add on honey in it. Currently they are serving pastries, cakes and some hot food.
One of my most memorable experience is when I came here alone, wanted a small-mental-getaway. This place took my tormented soul away, refreshing my mind with its beautiful cafe settings, the surroundings and not to mention, the coffee that they freshly brewed for me. Amazing. Let the coffee do the relaxation for you.
The strawberry pistachio cake was rather dense but extremely satisfying with the hidden strawberry jam in most mouthfuls.
The other cake, I believe was a salted gula melaka and peanut butter pandan cake. I swore I heard salted gula melaka but I certainly did not hear peanut butter when the owners were describing it to me. However all I tasted was peanut butter - no pandan, no salted gula melaka. The sponge was of a much nicer texture than the other cake. What a waste of a good concept.
Side note: Found the wooden 'plate' at H&M for RM59.90. I hope they did not buy a ton of them at that price.

sometimes just thinking of good coffee excites me.
first joe at KL - LoC, using sprezzatura beans which are roasted daily from single farms in Tana Toraja and Flores Indonesia. coffee game is strong here with a lovely full mouth bitter sweet profile that i have not enjoy for a long time.
Coffee was good, and the cafe is situated in a very cosy place upstairs along The Row. Secluded and quiet, the cafe cum boutique has apparels from a variety of brands from Pestle & Mortar.
