Have been thinking of this ever since I had it. Need to go back for more soon! πŸ˜πŸ˜‹

La Made painstakingly creates its ice cream from scratch using only natural ingredients cooled using -196Β° C liquid nitrogen technology.

Currently, 4 flavours are available in Singapore- Salted Egg Yolk Bun, HK French Toast, Sea Salt Caramel & Beancurd Dessert.
🍦
I tried the first 3 flavors and love Salted Egg Yolk Bun the most! Both the salted egg flavor and sweetness level are right on point!

Since I was already at Jurong; might as well give Lab Made a visit right? Perhaps I might have set my expectations a little too high; sure, the taste of gelato itself was decent β€” a little salted and much on the creamier side, but I did not like the fact that it came already melted partially down the bottom. Add that together with the uninspiring default topping of Honey Stars atop, its a little underwhelming at $6.90. Let's just say I liked the nitro ice-creams that Ice Queen did while they were still in Katong a lot, and this is not anywhere near it ...

Hong Kong's famous liquid nitrogen ice cream has found its way here! Didn't manage to find it when I was in HK but tada! Newly opened today on the second floor of Westgate, they have 4 flavours up on their menu: HK French Toast, Crunchy Sea Salt Caramel, Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun and Beancurd Dessert. The HK French Toast ice cream comes with a square of bread biscuit drizzled with honey sitting on the top. There are crunchy bits of the same biscuit mixed into the slightly creamy and sweet ice cream, but it didn't really scream HK French Toast to me at all. Felt that the flavours could be more gao and pronounced. It was still fun to watch and eat, although I'm not sure if it justifies the price with the portion given (the ice cream fills half the cup with dry ice in the bottom half). Nonetheless, I might come back to try the other interesting flavours. Heard that the Crunchy Sea Salt Caramel is recommended!
