Everyone & their mom comes here. That's partially what drew me to La Plancha - decent number of people already on the beanbags.
Ordered a Bintang (35K++ IDR) & sat in the front row hoping to catch a good view of the sunset, but sadly it was too cloudy to see anything.
This place gets really crowded around 6PM because that's when everyone wants to catch the sunset. Staff will pull out extra beanbags for you to sit on, as far front as they can go without the tide coming in & wetting your toes.
The overall experience was ok, perhaps it's just very well marketed hence the tourists flock here? I guess I was a little bit bored because their WiFi wasn't working...
The music played is your usual chill remixes of pop songs, not too loud such that you can still have a good conversation with your friends. I sat on the far left, right next to its neighbouring bar (also with beanbags) & was drawn to the latter's live band. Eventually left & ordered a drink there, to a much better experience that I would recommend.
