The mixed rice from the Kopiwu coffeeshop stall was a delightful combination of flavours.
The savoury chicken was well-seasoned and tender, complementing the freshness of the stif fried bean sprouts perfectly.
The fried egg omelette added a satisfying richness to the dish, tying all elements together for a comforting and fulfilling meal.
$3.90 for now.

Yay, a decent Hokkien Mee stall opened around my hood recently.

This good plate of Hokkien Mee has a good mix of yellow noodles and beehoon, soak up with aromatic broth simmered over hours, stir-frying with egg, pork belly, prawns, squid, and fried pork lard, served with sambal chilli. It's not the wet version, but it's definitely flavourful and moist enough.

Tried the new zhi char stall at 17 Seafood, which is newly opened at my hood. I had both the Salted Egg ($7.00) & Imperial Style ($6.00) Pork Ribs rice, not bad wor. Pork ribs are quite tender, and the sauce is quite well balanced. I'm going to come back to try more.

New hawker opened at Clementi this week. Quite a interesting concept that offer 8 different type of sauce with choice of Pork, Chicken, Fish, Squid or Prawn. Served with Mashed Potato and taste something like curry rice.

New Bak Chor Mee stall opened at Clementi Ave 1. Their signboard already attracted many residents around the hood like me wanting to give it a try.

Aside from the Fishball Noodles, Minced Meat Noodles, BCM, I would recommend trying their Supreme Signature Noodle ($5.00) A bowl filled with minced pork, sliced pork, pig’s liver, meatball, fishball, fish cake and Imitation Abalone. Not wow but a decent bowl of BCM. Maybe because they lack the braised mushroom and pork lard. They do have Laksa too which I am going to try it next time.
