no introduction needed for this plate of fried rice! 🤤 im a huge sucker of it & in case yall still dk me, i dont rly eat rice bc i dont like it (esp white!! #imstillasian) bt fried rice… is a YES for me 👍🏻

ive alws wanted to try @kingoffriedricesg for the longest time bc it was a ‘thing’ for a period of time bt dang nth is late when its still living up to its name! for it to call itself the king of a certain dish, thy must be rly good manz! 🥵🥵💯

not only does it has the wokhey, its egg fragrant is prominent & super generous w its 🥚 too!! 🤯🤯 (when ppl ask what’s my favourite food, i reply: egg! im being srs!! 😅)

yo & look at the pearlie rice!! 🍚 totally isnt ur usual plate of fried rice 🤩🤩🤩 i believe its using jap rice? not too sure on tht bt do u rly needa know the origin when u swipe ➡️ & see tht the rice is literally 一粒一粒的! ⚠️⚠️⚠️

& come on la… the pork cutlet! literally was in awe for a moment as i stare at my late for a gd 5mins, bc i was busy snapping beauty shots for it 🤣🤣🤣😅😅 HOW CAN A PORK CUTLET BE SO HUGE!!??! omg this is illegal ‼️ uk you’ll prib think tht thicc means undercook since the heat may not be able to transfer thru the entire cutlet bt @kingoffriedricesg has proven me wrong! its actually super tender!! 🤓✌🏻

Finally tried (yes, we are slow 🙊) and happy to say that it lived up to the expectations. The pork cutlet egg rice (4 ⭐️; $6.90) had a generous serving of tender and juicy pork slices, albeit on the oilier side. The rice was decently fragrant without being too oily or salty. Each fluffy grain was well coated by the egg, and enhanced by their chilli. At half the price of DTF with significantly bigger portion of meat, we’d likely choose this over the famous chain from now on.
