Lovely char siew again, but the roast duck was practically roast duck bones. I love that they have self-service soup, which had pork, chicken feet, cabbage and radish.

Char siew was decent. That's about it.

Roasted Dang Gui Duck.
The fat to lean meat ratio is superb, with the fat juice complementing the tender lean meat. Skin is greasy, slightly crisp, with layers of fats underneath. The taste of the flesh and skin are infused with a savoury herbal dang gui aroma and a natural sweetness that could be enjoy by adults and children alike.

Char siew siew yoke noodles @ $4.80
+ $0.20 for takeaway

Don't judge the picture. I mixed alr then took photo but it was quite nice when I first open the lid.

First tried Hua Zai at the yishun outlet and loved it so much that it's been on my mind ever since. Seems like different outlets have got different menus, went to this one wanting to get the horfun version but they don't have it, so just got the normal noodles. But absolutely loved it, both the noodles and the meat.

Hua Zai has popped up everywhere and there's now one within walking distance. I wasn't feeling their roast this day and went for soy sauce chicken for the first time. It's decent. I especially appreciated that their rice was chicken rice.
