Guan's Mee Pok (NEX)

Honestly, this is the worst value I've ever gotten from Mee pok. You see that picture? That's $8.
I get that it's a Nex food court so it's a bit more expensive. But $8? My expectations were pretty high.
So I dug in, into a bowl of noodles that instantly reminded me of.. the $3 Mee pok I could get walking 2 mins from my house.

Please order something else. Their Mee pok is truly a lack of value exemplified.

Personally prefer the yakitori one as I thought it was a pretty interesting combination, but I could also do without it and just have a normal bowl of mee pok because of the vinegar, chilli proportion which makes the gravy sour yet spicy and quite the bombz 💯 thanks Andrew for the invite and Guan’s Mee Pok for your hospitality!

Their mee poks were pretty spot on with the right proportion of vinegar, chilli and pork lard (YAS PORK LARD).

Latest addition to the menu here is the Baked Black Chicken. The chicken was really tender and aromatic, having captured all the essence while it was being baked. The gravy was thick and flavourful, further amplifying the overall taste of the dish though I would have prefer if there were more sauce! Oh and did I mention, the accompanying chilli sauce really packs a punch and is certainly not for the weak! Thanks Andrew for the invite and Guan’s Mee Pok for your hospitality! I came starving and left with a happy tummy indeed 👍🏼
