Wanton Seng's Eating House is the brand new offshoot of the famous Amoy Street wanton noodle restaurant. Now in Millenia Walk, enjoy 1-for-1 Takeaway Bowl (save ~$12) with their classic Seng's Char Siu Noodles ($9.80) and Four Egg Noodles ($14.80) which gets its name from their generous servings of ikura, shrimp roe, salted egg yolk and 5 minute eggs atop their al dente noodles. Burppler Xing Wei Chua recommends the Mala Bah Chor Noodles ($9.80), served with "Mala minced pork" that "pretty much laced up with the noodles and provided the entire bowl of noodles with quite an umami burst of spiciness that would tickle the tastebuds of even those who are tolerant to moderate levels of spiciness".

Recently opened in Space @ Kovan, CocoBoss specializes in coconut beverages, as its name suggests. Get spoilt with choices from their Classic/Roasted Coconut Shake, or one of their Specialty Crafted Coconut Blends. Burppler Whatisdigesting said "To my surprise, it was better than I expected. Really like that I can customize the sugar level as well as my crunch preference. I will recommend getting 75% sugar level and chunky coconut flesh." As for Burppler Tan Qi Zhe, she "tried their OG coconut shake at 35% sugar and chunky coconut bits and I absolutely love it! Don’t need travel to WaterwayPoint for Mr. Coconut anymore!"

Khao Hom by Rung Mama: 1-for-1 Main Dish (save ~$10)

Newly opened this year by the owners behind Dee Tongue Thai, this Thai restaurant in Djitsun Mall serves up nostalgic homecooked style food originated from Rung Mama's kitchen. Their Mango Salad Mixed with Homemade Sauce ($6) and Grilled Moo Ping ($8) will surely transport you back to the sweltering heat in Chatuchak Market, with tender pork marinated in sweet sauce and charred lightly for amazing smokiness. Other must-tries include the Thai Crispy & Fluffy Omelette ($8), Pad Thai with Meat ($8), Pineapple Fried Rice ($8) and speciality Thai Crispy E-Noodle Hor Fun ($8).

Hidden amongst private estate vicinity in Kovan, this cafe offers a selection of Mexican-fusion mains and pasta. Order the Garden Beef Stew + Pearl Rice ($18.90), Mexican Chicken with Aglio Olio ($18.90) and Beef Chili Con Salsa Nachos ($14.90) for sharing. Take a leaf out of Burppler Girl & Boy's book and have the Oh Dang Dang Spicy Pork Pasta ($15.90), which "had a sort of fusion take I wasn't expecting—a bit like Ja Jiang Mian with a hint of mala, but pasta version. So I'm wondering if this was done on purpose. It wasn't too spicy or numbing but had that slight kick just to keep you wanting more!"

This popular neighbourhood concept by COLLIN's is now on Burpple Beyond! Look forward to wholesome Western grilled dishes, including favourites such as Chicken Fungi Aglio Olio. Burppler Gerald Chai can't get enough of the 1-for-1 Mixed Grill deal, saying "for only $15 you get chicken chop, pork chop, sausage, three fixed sides of spaghetti, salad and corn. Is enough to feed 2 men easily."
