Fully vaccinated or not, it's time to show your love for our hawkers and coffee shops this week. We list down some of the Burpple community's favourite spots!

Hawkers and coffee shop stalls now welcome dine-in for groups of two without COVID-19 vaccination checks. We're totally looking forward to dining in again at these stalls and eateries, as voted by fellow Burpplers!

Wing Liao Lor: Hong Lim Food Centre

For Unique Nasi Lemak
Wing Liao Lor is a stall selling Chinese-Peranakan inspired cuisine at Hong Lim Market and Food Centre. There are 3 different Nasi Lemak sets which you can choose from, all of which includes their signature fried curry wings: Set 1, which is the most basic set with fried curry wings only ($3.70), Set 2 with an addition of curry vegetables ($4.50), and Set 3 comes with fish otah instead ($5.30). Apart from their fragrant Nasi Lemaks, you can also feast on their Mee Siam ($3.50) and Lontong ($3.50), or even their Crispy Chicken Cutlet ($5) and Truffle Fries with Parmesan Cheese ($5.50) if you’re looking for a side to share!

For Modern Western
Hit up this modern Western spot in Sunset Way for Torched, hidden inside a coffee shop. Burppler Miss Ha ~ praised "their thick, juicy, no frills beef patty highly. It was always chargrilled perfectly, exuding the smokiness yet retaining the juiciness of the meat." Other community favourites include the Salmon Mentai Bowl ($12), Fish Burger ($10), and Signature Honey Soy Chicken ($9).

For KL Chilli Pan Mee
Chilli Pan Mee is a classic comfort food from Kuala Lumpur, and this Chilli Pan Mee store located in Kovan is a must-try! A small bowl of Chilli Pan Mee ($4.80) includes noodles served with poached egg, fried garlic and shallots, ikan billis, minced meat, and chilli, while the big bowl ($7.80) comes with additional chicken cutlet. However, if you have low spice tolerance, we recommend not to mix all the chilli with the noodles as it can get pretty spicy!

For Cantonese Roasts
Calling all roasted meat fans! If you haven't already tried 88 Hong Kong Roast Meat, you're due for a visit. Enjoy succulent Cantonese roasts with rice or noodles (from $4.50) - Burppler Terence Ong calls it his "ideal type of char siew. A caramelised charred exterior with a tinge of sweetness from the marinade. I’m a great fan of fatty char siew and the fat to meat ratio is perfect. "

For Creative Min Jiang Kueh
Heading north? Check out Munchi Delights, which is located in Yishun Park Hawker Centre! Munchi Delights offers a huge variety of Min Jiang Kuehs, with a selection of Original, Charcoal and Green Tea skin with a choice of traditional fillings such as Peanut ($1.30), Coconut ($1.30), Red Bean ($1.30), and Black Sesame ($1.60). They also offer Munchi Pancakes with unique fillings such as Thai milk tea ($1.80), Strawberry cheese ($1.80) and even Mao Shan Wang ($2.80)! If you’re looking for something lighter, you can also opt for their Mini Munchi, which is a petite version of their Munchi Pancake.

YouFu Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle: Golden Mile Food Centre

For Wet-Style Hokkien Mee
Hokkien Mee is another favourite comfort food for many Singaporeans, and this Hokkien Mee stall at Golden Mile Food Centre offers a generous amount of pork belly, prawns and squid for every plate of Hokkien Mee ($4/ $5/ $6/ $8) ordered. This stall is managed by a young 22-year old hawkerpreneur, so do come and show him some support!

For Crunchy Fried Chicken
Fatty Bom Bom is a popular Western joint in Sengkang West that's known for their Crunchy Chicken with Pasta ($8.90), described by Burppler Yang Xunsheng as "spaghetti drenched in tomato-based sauce, topped with a huge crispy crunchy chicken cutlet, sides with a bun and coleslaw. Burppler C P adds on that it's "really very crunchy and generous portion too!"

For Salted Egg Mala
This eatery in Queenstown is known for being the first few spots to offer Salted Egg Mala (yes, you heard that right!), so if you’re looking for unique dishes to try, definitely check this stall out! You won’t go wrong with their Mala Pork Belly Rice Set ($5) which sees their TGG signature mala pork tossed with broccoli and potato, and Salted Egg Chicken Rice Set ($5). Other must-tries include the Mentaiko Salmon Rice Set ($7) and Soy Garlic Ribeye Beef Rice Set ($6).

For Extra Big Prawns
Craving for some soup? This highly-raved prawn noodle located at the Old Airport Road Food Centre is the right dish for you! The flavourful prawn broth will definitely satisfy your tummy, and each bowl of noodles even offers a generous amount of prawns! You can slurp on their signature Prawn Noodles ($5.50/ $8.50), or even their Intestine Noodles ($5.50/ $8.50) and Pork Ribs Noodles ($5.50/ $8.50)!
