Nasi Lemak WanJo

The restaurant has been in business for 55 years, beginning as a little roadside shop. Nasi Lemak Wanjo is now widely considered as Kuala Lumpur's best Nasi Lemak. You'll be served a normal plate of santan rice with the essential elements of ikan bilis, boiled egg, and cucumber, just like most Nasi Lemak vendors.

Sambal Sotong and Fried Chicken are two of the great side dishes here. The fried chicken smelled amazing and was juicy and tender on the inside. On the other hand, the Sambal Sotong is cooked to perfection. The sotong portions were pretty large, and the sambal was quite hot.

Nasi Lemak Wanjo does not scrimp on sotong portions, and the sizes of each sotong were rather large compared to other nasi lemak places, making it a great value for money. Nasi Lemak Wanjo's sambal is sweet, but don't let that deter you if you prefer spicy sambal. It was quite tasty, moderately spicy, and went nicely with the fragrant santan rice.

Village Park

Famously known as Nasi Lemak Neelofa, some people speculated that Neelofa or her family has a share in the restaurant because her picture is plastered behind the cashier and there's a huge picture of her family in the dining room. Whatever the case may be, Village Park Restaurant is well-known in Uptown Damansara for serving the greatest Nasi Lemak.

The number of people lined up to get into the restaurant will quickly identify the establishment. Village Park is known for their aromatic and flavourful crunchy fried chicken. Most people would just order that with no other side dishes since the size of fried chicken is enough to send you to food coma. But if you feel that is not enough, their sambal sotong, sambal kerang and their rendang deserves a nod too.

Nasi Lemak Bumbung

Despite its peculiar moniker, Nasi Lemak Bumbung is one of the best nasi lemak restaurants in the Klang Valley. Like any other popular Nasi Lemak stall, this little booth frequently has huge lines of customers waiting to be serviced. The runny yolk on its side up fried egg is the most important dish in nasi lemak. The rice's smell is heightened when served on a banana leaf, and the dish is complemented by juicy fried chicken and sweet and spicy sambal.

The chicken taste was unusual in that it tasted almost like muruku. Looking at it closely there’s some of Indian spices like cumin and fennel seeds, which explains the distinct flavour. The fragrant rice was accompanied by a big helping of sambal. It wasn't spicy at first, but it was well-balanced with a sense of sweetness, which comes from the onion chunks.
