The new kid on the block, Dough, has certainly made a name for itself as a hip and chic cafe to visit if you’re in CHIJMES. While many highlight the “Instagram-worthiness” and aesthetics of the cafe, the food doesn’t fall short. The Dough Platter ($28) features a thick, 200g bacon steak, while the classic pairing of Rosti & Shrooms ($26) spotlights the crispy potato rosti. For something a little more adventurous, the Kimchi Arrabiata ($22) will get your taste buds going.

For Uniquely Dessert Waffles
Craftsmen Specialty Coffee boasts a variety of coffees from around the world together with their scrumptious food menu. For a hearty meal, the Norwegian Salmon Brioche ($20.30) will be sure to sate your appetite. Burppler Jessica Chew explains that the dish was “Incredibly tasty, satisfying and full-filling hearty plate of goodness.” For those of you with a sweet tooth, the Salted Gula Melaka Waffle ($17.10) or the Reese’s Style Waffle ($17.10) will be up your alley.

For simple and straightforward brunch food done well, grab brunch from PUNCH. Although the food menu is relatively small, the offerings sure check all the boxes of a satisfying meal. The Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($14) contains a blend of cheeses, and is served with a tomato soup for dipping. Alternatively, the Earl Grey Pancakes ($19), served with poached pear and macadamia crumble, is sure to pack a punch!

Being one of the few cafes in Pasir Panjang, The Kins’ offers a classic brunch menu with its unique twists. For the English Breakfast lovers out there, the Kins’ Big Brekkie ($24) has everything you’d expect, along with rashes of sweet and savoury candied bacon. If you’re feeling something a little more upscale, the Lobster Mac & Cheese ($18) will be sure to satisfy your palate.

Here at Five Oars, expect to be taken on a journey through coffee and food. Evident from the ambience, Five Oars serves food that’s rustic, hearty, and satisfying. The Corn Fritters ($18) comes with poached eggs, and as Burpplers Audrey & Cady describe, a “Pretty nice brunch item with lots of tastes and things going on on the plate.” Typical brunch items you’d expect, like Baked Eggs ($20) and Bacon & Hash ($21), are also available for takeaway.
