For Everything Matcha
This newly opened café in Taman Melodies has got everyone going wild with OOTD pics, especially with its "industrial-almost-post-apocalyptic-bunker" looking exterior, and classy, minimalist interior. Another thing everyone is also talking about is the number of dishes that include Matcha. There's Matcha cream sandwiches, like the Strawberry Sando (RM14) and Red Bean Sando (RM15), which are both made with fluffy slices of bread, and an incredibly smooth and mildly sweet Matcha cream. There's also a Genmaicha (Japanese brown rice tea) jam on toast (RM10), and if you ask us, this is probably the only place where you can find this on the menu, so give it a try! Matcha drinks are also available, such as the watermelon iced latte (RM14), strawberry iced latte (RM16), as well as some local inspired ones like the sugarcane Matcha iced tea and coconut water Matcha iced tea (RM13). As for meals we would recommend the Samon Ochazuke (RM30), which is a baked salmon fillet on top of rice, served with Umeboshi (sour plum), seaweed and a pot of savoury Matcha Dashi soup, which you can pour all over the rice and salmon.

For Crispy And Fresh Fish And Chips
Dory? Perch? Barramundi? Salmon? Which one of these would you like to have as fish and chips? That's right, no generic frozen fish here, each fillet comes with a little card to tell you what the fish is supposed to taste like and how to best enjoy its flavor. There are two style's of fish and chips to order here, either have it the classic, crispy deep fried batter way or grilled. For classic, our favorite would be the Barramundi (RM33.90), the sweet, silky and buttery flavor of the meat just goes so well with the light and crispy batter, its like a crunchy envelop of perfectly cooked fish. For grilled, we'd recommend either the Perch (RM28.90) or Salmon (RM46.90), as the light searing adds layers of flavor to the meat. Not forgetting the "chips", which are definitely not neglected, as they have a crispy exterior and soft interior that still retains a bit of a bite to it.

Have you ever had soft serve ice cream with Earl Grey tea? Neither have we, until Mixue came to Johor that is. Recently opening up their first ever Malaysian branch in Paradigm Mall, you can get their soft serve cones for only RM1, which is an absolute bargain. Aside from this, you can also try their Mi-Shake (RM4.50), which comes in strawberry milkshake or ice cream and tea. Bubble tea lovers can also try out their Bobba Sundae (RM4.50), a mix of sweet bubble tea topped with a generous amount of their soft serve milk ice cream.
