Housed within Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, this restaurant serves usual traditional Peranakan cuisine with a modern twist! Try their Foie Gras Duck Confit Fried Rice ($22) for fragrant rice fried with duck fat served with foie gras and succulent duck leg, and Coconut Prawn Linguine ($23) for al-dente linguine and fresh prawns simmered in an aromatic blend of nonya herbs and coconut milk. Burppler I makan Sg especially enjoyed the Braised Ponteh Lamb Shank ($27), which was "indeed tender and fall-off-the-bone. The Ponteh sauce went well with the lamb shank and wasn’t salty as I initially worried about."

Of the two rice bowl options available, the Burpple community highly recommends the Sh-nack Don ($8.90). Expect umami beef slices, a runny onsen tamago and crispy Cajun-spiced fish skin served atop a bed of warm Japanese rice — great for lunch! Wash that down with their Coconut Shake ($4.90) made with a blend of Thai coconut water and bits of coconut flesh, or treat yourself to the dairy and nut-free Coconut Soft Serve ($4.90), drizzled with gula Melaka sauce and powdered gula Melaka. It's refreshing and light enough, and makes for an icy finish to a tasty meal.
