These Pockets are something like a cross between Croquettes and "Japanese Curry Puffs", coated with Bread Crumbs (Panko) and deep-fried to give a crispy and bread-like texture.

Having walked past these pockets each time I visited @plazasingapur, I finally gave in to their visuals and the 3 for $8.70 deal. Sadly I didn't receive them hot, but I ate them right away, and am surprised they still remained really crispy.

Cheese Curry
Pretty much the best out of the 3, the addition of cheese to their strong and flavourful Japanese Curry was really welcome.

Brown Beef Curry
Tbh tastes pretty similar to the Cheese Curry, I mean it's prob similar curry that's used to make this. It's filled with basically what you'd expect from Japanese Curry - Potatoes, Carrots, and the Beef itself. I'd still pick the Cheese Pocket over this though.

Ebi Gratin
Decided to get something different from the rest - since everything was curry-based, and this was cream-based instead. It was a good choice to get something different, else it'd all probably taste almost the same, but felt that it was really mild and doesn't pack as much flavour as the Cheese Curry Bun.

I prob wouldn't head there specially for it, but if I'm nearby and decided I'm craving fried curry bread again then maybe, I may pay another visit, and just for the Cheese Curry.
