Kiji is famous for the Osaka style okonomiyaki and after taking a bite, I understand why they were included in the Bib Gourmand section of the Michelin Guide. β’
The noodles did not had any alkaline taste and the outer layer was a tad crispy giving it slight crunchy texture. I think the housemade sauce was the main star, it was filled with flavour but not too overwhelming to the extent where you would feel gerlate. Overall the noodle was a comfort food after a hard day of work. β’
PS. do take note of the classic wall with a leading stairwell as it can be easily missed.
