A really simple but classy decor welcomed us as we prepared to have our lives transformed :))) the meal was incredible from start to finish!!
appetizer:
Salmon trout(Part Of Set Lunch) first time I enjoyed salad lol all the elements were tasty on their own and really worked tgt
Spanish octopus(18++) highlight of the meal with the octopus done perfectly. Right balance of chewiness and tenderness as well as a distinctive smokey aroma. Patatas bravas were crispy and the accompanying spicy sauce resembling rendang really spiced up the octopus
Chilled angel hair pasta(POSL): surprisingly simple and delightful with very strong truffle aroma
Mains:
Haddock fillet(POSL) Fish was done without fuss and flaky while the olive oil complemented it perfectly
Ravioles(POSL) The cheesy tomato soup was easy to slurp down and the ravioles was decent
Iberico pork secreto(26++): extremely well marbled piece of glorious pork with a fantastic glaze that leaves u wanting for more despite the fats. Could have been rendered more tho as it the fats were more chewy than tender
Dessert
Coconut blancmange(POSL) others burpplers said enough about this lol just get it don't ask questions. Also they might have adjusted the recipe as previous burpplers complained about the toughness of the almond crumble but I didn't have a problem with it today it's almost soft
Chocolate valrhona(14++) absolutely delicious with gooey melted chocolate centre and the real vanilla used in the ice cream is evident. I might like this even more than the coconut blancmange lol(that was slightly sour because of the passion fruit coulis)
Overall a really enjoyable birthday lunch with excellent food and service. Service staff was really attentive (maybe because there wasn't a crowd) and they were really friendly as well
