Alan's sambal stingray was way better than the one we had at the Chomp Chomp recently (not going to name shame though!).

We loved that the stingray was meaty, juicy and tender. The sambal was fragrant ans just nasty good. I like that they char their sambal a little to give it a nice smoky caramelised flavour.

The sotong is decent. You can't go really wrong with sotong and caramelised onions in sambal sauce but I thought it was a little tough and overdone.

Tip of the day: Grab Alan's sambal stingray and order the sotong from the stall I will be featuring in my next post!
