Following the success from their Takashimaya outlet, FLIPPER’S Singapore has now opened a second outlet at Bugis Junction. With this new opening, diners can expect a range of outlet-exclusive sweet and savoury items such as the Honeycomb Butternut Kiseki Pancake, Millennial Pancake with Daifuku, Maple Bacon & Fried Egg Pancake and Salmon Avocado Pancake.

The secret behind the popularity of FLIPPER’S kiseki pancakes lies in several factors such as the pancakes are made to order under controlled time and temperature conditions, their usage of specific ingredients such as only using fresh Japanese milk in the batter to bring out the natural flavours of flour and eggs, Japanese Hinata eggs from Kanagawa prefecture, Hokkaido “Kitahonami” flour to create the soft and fluffy texture and top quality toppings such as Japanese chitose strawberries and French Valrhona chocolate.

We had a sneak preview before the actual opening on 25 October, and tried their seasonal limited edition, Millennial Pancake Strawberry Daifuku ($24.80) and Kiseki Pancake of Caramelised Banana with Häagen-Dazs chocolate ice cream ($21.80). True to their promise, you can truly taste the quality of ingredients in their kiseki pancakes and the cloud-like texture from each bite.
