We were spoilt for choice at Pantler as their desserts all look so pretty and appetising! We decided we had to give Yatsura a try as it was one of their signature items and we could taste why! The upper layer consists of luscious chocolate mousse topped with rich chocolate ganache while the bottom layer consists of crunchy hazelnut feuilletine and hazelnut dacquoise. We loved the crunch in every bite and the hazelnut flavour was really strong! The cake had just the right amount of sweetness and it was gone in a few bites. This actually reminds me of the chocolate guanaja cake from rive gauche which I love as well as it has a similar crunchy layer but yatsura definitely won over my taste buds. At $9.50, it's definitely steep but I'll definitely order it again.
