For those seeking something a little more and if savoury is the way to go, the Aburi Chee Cheong Fun ($14.50) from SG Chee Cheong Fun by Ben Yeo, came with a jammy onsen egg, specialty sauces, and shallots. Certainly not the cheapest rice noodle rolls around, the plate had quite a lot going on and was pretty good though not mind-blowingly so. The sweet-savoury sauce made a lovely difference and the condiments really luxed it all up. The slight smokiness from the torching was a nice touch too.
