This was rather tasty! Noodles are soft and plain, a good base for the ingredients. The zaier is crisp, and so is the taukee. The mock charsiew is surprisingly nice, it has a sweet marinade and didn’t taste like the typical mock meats. Tofu and cabbage were tasty too!

I quite like this Ru Yi franchise. The food at all 3 outlets I’ve tried - tiong bahru, margaret drive and this were satisfying. But I find that this BB outlet is a bit stingy with the ingredients. The auntie carefully plates each portion, so maybe that’s why it feels so? But anyway, if you want more ingredients then probably get the bigger portion.
