New kid on the block - Santis is the latest venture by the Sarnies Group , where they are an alfresco restaurant highlighting the best of produce through open flame cooking.

Got to try one of their signature slow-fermented sourdough pizza, Green Pig. The texture of the pizza was what caught my attention first when I took my first bite, rather than its flavors. The chewy sourdough with its crisp, burnt crust was done well, and had a slight tang to it. The sliced roasted Coppa laid on the avocado crema with generous shavings of Pecorina dusted all over it. Apart from that, there were almonds and basil thrown in the mix to balance out the flavors, with the almond providing some crunch to cut on the monotony.
