The pizzas at Chef Icon redefined the stereotypical view that pizzas are “junk food” because what we get is a vegetarian and clean tasting rendition of the Italian staple. While this tasted nothing like the usual Italian/ American pizzas, the unique bread like base with a pastry like crisp crust was noteworthy.
The toppings of mild cheese, curry powder, a soy based vegetarian ham and healthy fresh tomato chunks were contributions to the clean character of this 6-inch pizza.
