The only good thing about my Taro Milk Tea with Pearls ($5.00, M) were the pearls, which are an add-on (i.e. not part of the standard offering). Perfectly bouncy texture, great chew to it, & tastes slightly sweet. One of the best ones I've ever had!

Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing; even the great pearls couldn't salvage this experience. In a nutshell, I didn't know what liquid I was drinking - no taste of taro, & barely any taste of tea.

Perhaps the staff that made my drink was really stressed; there was a massive order that came in before mine. The moment I stepped in, she immediately said "need to wait 15 minutes ah". I appreciated the transparency, & could tell she was stressed. I went out to run errands & popped back 15 minutes later.

I do hope this was an off-day - I mean, there *was* a huge order placed before mine. But to be frank, I'm not exactly motivated to return...

Also: No filming allowed inside the store (there's a sign that says this). Not sure of the rationale behind this, but it's worth noting if that's something important to any of you content creators.
