My first time trying a canelon, although I know this is a Spanish classic enjoyed around the Christmas festivity. The pulled oxtail ragout stuffed in the silk thin canelon is beefy and robust in flavours. Never expected the canelon to be that thin, which is refine version I guess. The fava beans and mushroom are certainly befitting accompaniment. Overall I still would prefer a little more saltiness in this dish but it might be my tastebuds going haywire after my Black King Nagi ramen lunch.
