A personal favorite of mine, this is one of the last remaining Hokkien delicacies that is slowly dying out. Now managed by its third generation owners, it has moved from its original location at China street where they operated by push cart to its present location at Maxwell market.
4 of the most important ingredients in a ngoh hiang is handmade and they are the meat roll, egg cake, pink sausage and the liver roll. Ordered the first three, and they were truly savory and delightful. As a Hokkien myself, I truly appreciate the flavors that is traditional, satisfying and importantly, made with much sincerity - use of real ingredients without the use of fillers. The bee hoon is also delightful and light on the palate.
