When you travel 50 minutes, spend S$17 cab fare, through the crazy busy streets of Jakarta just to get to this noodle stall for a bowl of local street noodle, you know how serious I am about getting to try this finally. And boy am I glad I did it. The noodles are crinkly and al dente. The meat is forgettable but the meat sauce and the noodles comes together so well. The soy braised egg is egg-straordinary, egg-cellent and I am not egg-xegerating. If you like your "lor neng/ nui" (spy braised egg) to be well flavored, they've probably stewed these eggs for "7 x 7 = 49 days"!
