The Kway matched along well with the braised duck (would prefer them to be thicker) & usual mix of bouncy small pork intestines, pork belly, fish cake & egg; which were deliciously braised in a dark sauce. Guess this is one of those dishes that people either love or hate, but a true blue Singaporean like me grew up enjoying this with my grandmother – certainly one of the local comfort food I’ll definitely miss if I were to ever go for exchange. & Unlike the typical chicken, don't you agree that duck is so much underrated in Singapore?
P.S. #Repost-ing this because I need to get more duck in my system from #hawkertoday ✌🏻
