Despite the name there's actl a lot more beef than tendon inside. The tendons were soft, beef was of good quality. What's impressive about the dish is the underlying flavour, probably from spices. There's more layers compared to you homemade version, but not too different
Worth a try if you like tendon and braised stuff, it's good and homely but not special
Overall: second time here cos my mom likes it, the second time was arguably even better, there's more memorable dishes like the ckn feet, the lotus leaf glutinous rice, on top of their proven dimsum we had previously. Apart from the difficult to find location it's not bad at all
