If you liked the food at Siglap's Rice & Fries (now closed), look to this new rice bowl spot to find chef-owner Ken Chia back in action. The concept is simple, centred around the idea of a solid, trustworthy meal — rice bowls! We like the 72-hour slow-cooked Beef Rice Bowl ($14) sporting tender, slightly charred beef slices and a wobbly 63° onsen egg on aromatic Japanese rice. Other favourites include their Teriyaki Chicken Signature Rice Bowl (S$8.00) and Mala Pork Collar with springy Shanghai noodles ($10).
