Hotel Fort Canning's new creation this year is this yusheng that came with mala sauce instead of sweet plum sauce. We were initially worried that it'll be too spicy, so we only poured in half the mala chilli. Turns out the spice level was well-calibrated, and the yusheng turned out to be fragrant and tingling without being overly spicy.

Besides this ‘Ma-Luck’ Fa Cai Yu Sheng, they are also serving other best-sellers like the Signature Fortune Salmon Yu Sheng and Blossoms of Abundance Treasure Pot. Other recommended take-home goodies include Golden Crispy Suckling Pig, Imperial Herbal Roast Duck and Signature HFC Carrot Cake with Hokkaido Dried Scallops.

For dining-in this Lunar New Year, Hotel Fort Canning also features a selection of five menus for your round-table reunions, available from 15 January to 8 February 2020, from S$68++ per person (min of 2 persons) to S$968++ for 10 persons.
