Lightly fried jamon-stuffed creamy croquettes with aioli
Every Spanish Tapas Place would definitely have their own version of croquettes. Here, the croquettes are stuff with a creamy base and lightly fried jamon. What stood out was the aioli which was homemade; anything homemade usually spells out goodness. The aioli was thick and intense, having a strong garlicky flavour to it, bordering on the edges of being gelat. Unfortunately, I couldn't taste much of the jamon, it was almost non-existent other than a few bits and pieces within the creamy insides of the croquette. The aioli saved this dish and I would still recommend this as something to try.
