Impressed by my dining experience at The Wine Cove - food, wines, service and ambience all hit the spot.
My personal favourite dish has to be the squid ink yakimeshi - the fragrant fried rice, combined with the umami burst of ikura roe and fresh clams kept me going back for more. Also a shoutout to the Wagyu ribeye - great medium rare steak but made even better with the Béarnaise sauce that came with it.
Wines that were recommended by the staff were to our palate and paired really well with the respective dishes.
Will be back for more.
