Seasonal special only available for the month of Sept and Oct, this charcoal mille crepe comes with bamboo charcoal infused crepe layered with charcoal flavoured pastry cream, topped with a buttery black glaze and garnished with crunchy cocoa nibs. Perhaps many might envision charcoal as a flavour for the aesthetics, but this flavour surprisingly turned out fine for the palate as well 🖤! The thin paper-like crepes were layered substantially with smooth charcoal infused cream and there was a lingering roasted flavour and a (surprisingly) pleasant charred aroma to this flavour that was akin to that of roasted coffee beans. Along with cocoa nibs that added a pleasant crisp factor, the mille crepe is sufficiently moist, with a soft and fluff texture. Indeed, I must admit that @ladymsg ‘s seasonal cakes always never fail to disappoint, and its the only flavour that makes me coming back for more. Though the usual mille crepe flavours can be pretty much given a miss, the seasonal flavours are definitely worth the try! ✨ .
