Always excited when something new opened in school, and yet upon trying, more often than not I'm disappointed. This Truffle Honey Waffle is no exception. The only good thing was the crispy-outside-fluffy-inside texture of the waffle. But the rest was disastrous to me. The vanilla ice cream tasted so ordinary and underwhelming that it cheapens the entire dish while the truffle flavour dominated the waffles (and the honey was gone without leaving any trace). If you love truffle so much, maybe this is your stuff, but then again, are you willing to pay $12 for an artificially-truffle-tasting waffle (with pathetic dollop of vanilla ice cream)?
