2nd stop of #jiaklocal in my backyard. Located at the newly refurbished iconic Red House in Katong. Took over the space of the defunct very last century bakery. Decor is rustic with floor tiles of the good ole days and old school biscuits in tin boxes on display.

Kopi-o was prepared the old style, using the long snout kettle and the "sock" for brewing. Tiny cupcakes ($2 each) of flavors ie buttercream, strawberry n kaya. Because of the history of Red House, much thot has been put into this cafe to retain the 80s charm. Not exactly kopitiam looking, but it is going to be a hit with residents especially the baby boomers generation. 💢
For some, this historical building might just bring many folks down memory lane. Located at East Coast Road across from Katong V.
