Don’t let this unassuming slice deceive you. While the thick frosting on top may look very rich, it’s actually not overwhelming at all. The base itself is super fluffy and moist, almost like Awfully Chocolate’s.
You can share this with a friend, but you can easily finish it alone with a cup of coffee too (their Flat White’s gooood, $5)! 😛

Also, I never knew that there was a café hidden inside this Chinese book shop — it was such a lovely surprise to stumble upon this cosy space while looking for shelter and a warm cuppa on a rainy afternoon! 👍🏼 Most of their bakes were already sold out, but I'll definitely be back to try the tarts and their popular homemade breads.
