Exclusive for online ordering only, this year Soup Restaurant is offering the Handmande Mini Longevity Bun Tower ($39.90, subject to prevailing GST) that contains sweet lotus paste filling in the 18 buns. To continue with the celebrations, there are delivery set menus for 2-3 pax, 5 pax and 10 pax. Pictured is the Family Set for 5 Pax ($168, subject to prevailing GST) that comes with a small portion of the signature Samsui Ginger Chicken, Soup of the Day, Yam Rice with Dried Shrimp & Pine Nuts, Honey Truffle Pork Chop, Garlic Broccoli, 5 bottles of Chrysanthemum Tea and Osmanthus Jelly in Ginseng & Red Dates Soup.

Besides the iconic samsui ginger chicken, my other favourite from this set menu is the honey truffle pork chop with the stir-fried mushrooms at the bottom that gives a nice earthy aroma and flavour. The yam rice is unique on its own as it is steamed and then stir fried with dried shrimps, Chinese sausage and topped with pine nuts.
