Outstanding Har Cheong Gai
[Braddell] I like the hor fun ($8) here but it’s strangely inconsistent—the times I’ve bought it home to eat, it’s always been imbued with a nice smokiness, yet when I eat it there the wok hei is almost non-existent and the gravy lacks flavour.
Probably not as crowded as during its heyday but this neighbourhood Tze Char is still a popular place, perhaps amongst its regulars.
