- Variety of ingredients with kangkong, bean sprouts, springy fish cakes, lean pork, shrimps and even a red date which was very sweet and cooked till soft reminiscent of sweet potatoes!
- Pork slices were slightly sweet without the porky odour.
- Soup was clear and not oily, leaning slightly on the sweeter side with a heavier flavour of pork rib soup than shrimp, topped with generous amount of fried shallots which gave an aromatic savouriness 🍲
- Chose thin bee hoon that soaked up the essence well.
- Shrimps, though deshelled and deveined, were cut into halves which I found a little thin.
