When the food scene gives you too many tendons, just go and try every single one of them! The tempura don frenzy is not dying down anytime soon and the game is real.

It takes a great deal of guts to name a restaurant after the world-famous Tsukiji Fish Market. Occupying the space with a nice view that previously housed Sumiya, this new restaurant consists of different concepts such as sushi, ramen and tempura.

This stunning EBIZO Special Tempura Don caught my eye with its overflowing and huge tempuras. I was more than willing to pay 20 bucks for this rice bowl. I mean, just check out these elaborate tempura items - prawn, eel, crab, squid, onzen egg and veggies.

Thinly battered, the crunch and crisp remained despite tendon sauce was drizzled over. Though the tendon sauce was slightly lacklustre, I love everything in my bowl. The firm succulent prawn, the nicely cooked squid that was not rubbery and the egg porn presented by the tempura onsen egg. 😁 My first tempura eel was surprisingly light in flavour because I'm so used to the usual savory unagi. But I have to make a special mention of the crab as they used real crab leg and not those imitation crab stick. 👍
