Masterchef Singapore runner-up Gen Lee has created this dish that would only be served on 2 Aug and 3 Aug, as part "Home Truly" menu. Besides Chef Gen Lee, there'll also be dishes created by @dingdongsg Head Chef @millermai_, and two other Masterchef Singapore's finalists - @aaronwong.sg, and @zanderng.

I love this dish for how Chef Gen Lee has rendered the duck fats here, the charred layer on the skin meant that the skin was seared till fragrant, but still retaining its juices. What's also amazing here was the taro croquette which was crumbly soft and stuffed with duck confit, shiitake and leeks. These two star of the dish was served with cauliflower puree, plum spiced jus, and a bouquet of pickles consisting of beetroot, kumquat compote, and mustard seeds.
