At $16.80 a bowl, Kanshoku's Dry Truffle ramen is definitely a treat for a splurgy day! Finally visited the ramen that was much raved about in 2016(?), and it was pretty decent & delightful! The truffle aroma was definitely present in the noodles which was tossed with both truffle bits and oil, topped off with TWO (boohoo) perfectly torched but definitely not filling pieces of charshu, and the noodles hugged a warm sous-vide egg which was then topped off with 3 slices of truffle! I really liked how all the flavours come together as one & complemented each other, especially after breaking the egg in the middle as it's kinda on the dry side. However, the portion was really small foe $16.80+, and I left with an unsatisfied tummy because of the small portion and the measly 2 pieces of charshu. Would recommend only if you're a small eater or have yet to try the ramen! It's more of a check of the food list for me & I probably won't be back so soon!
