It's been a while since Shuu released an entirely new flavour on the shelves — that also means I need to get my hands on one of their new Houjicha Shuu puffs that is a special for the month of December. The choux pastry still remains to be what I always look forward to; the crisp crust on the exterior that is sufficiently dense and moist encasing all that almost endless amount of cream that keeps flowing — the Houjicha cream being pretty smooth and roasty with a tea aroma lingering; not overly bitter nor sweet. Still my favourite place for Choux puffs around!
