Shaped like a UFO, this Teochew delicacy is fast diminishing from the local hawker scene.
Amongst the handful of hawker and pasar malam stalls keeping this dish going, I reckon Fu Zhou Poh Hwa is the best of the lot.
I love that the outer crust remains dry and crisp even though you are having it sometime after. The inside is soft and pillowy and the filling is a good mix of prawns, minced meat and of course oysters!
Dab it with some of the chilli sauce that comes with it (I personally love McDonald's garlic chilli sauce on them) and you have the perfect teatime snack with a cup of teh!
