London Bar (not Bridge, mind you), situated along Boat Quay, now offers lunch sets to lure the lunch crowd in. You get to choose a protein option (think pork chops, fish &chips sans chips) and a carb of your choosing, and they'll round it off with a salad, an appetizer and a dessert.

The most exciting offering on their menu is the chicken tikka masala (pictured above), priced at $11.90+. While the chicken was dry and stringy, the marvelously moreish masala kept me coming back for more till the chicken was depleted. It also meshed well with the decent fried rice on the side, and to my delight, there was more than enough of the savory and sufficiently spicy masala to go round.

Granted, it's definitely not gonna win any culinary awards anytime soon, but it's unarguably decent and a solid hunger busting choice, and like most other food, it evolves into its final and ultimate form when paired with a cold, frothy pint of beer.
